What is so long? Expectations and limitations of the BlackBerry Smartphone

First off, let me be clear: There are subsets of the population who absolutely adore BlackBerry smartphones. And with good reason: they never crash or stop working, give it up in the second e-mail in a clean and easy to read format, and they offer little extras like BlackBerry Messenger to sweeten the deal. Heck, some people even think they are cool.
But the BlackBerry has never been a consumer market dominance, that other manufacturers have to worry proved. Popular among young people, but without the design features or fan-boy enthusiasm of the iPhone, and without the flexibility of an Android phone, it looks as if RIM is not making any progress to be able in the foreseeable future. And RIM execs take note, this is a simple reason:
The technology that you offer is nothing new. In fact, in some cases, it is really old!
2G or not 2G? What a silly question.
It is shocking that the first BlackBerry smartphone with 3G connectivity have Bold's 9700th One of the most popular models, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is still only a 2G phone. All except the most basic cell phones are now sporting the snappier 3G signal.
This is important for the BlackBerry Curve owner, be able to surf the Internet, want to be like them - they find the 2G connection so slow! So if you are considering a BlackBerry Curve is the best option, the 3G-Curve 9300 - You benefit from faster Internet access and an update to a modern-looking surface. Offers to all UK networks and international. You would have thought that this model is available at the same time 9700 (the first 3G Blackberry, remember ?)... Unfortunately it was not. BlackBerry fans had to wait a whole year before her gloves on the 3G version of the Curve. Poor show, RIM.
No Apptitude because when it comes to the best apps
As the only game you can play on the Curve 8520, a clunky version of "brick-breaker", you know that your App Store needs a little work. to support BlackBerry devices with a legacy essentially come, but resource-light business applications, so two things: No. 1, they have an unattractive price tag, and # 2 has not been a driving force to increase the processing capacity of blackberries. And the outcry if mobile gaming classics as Angry Birds are not available look for BlackBerry phones - Petitions have been established, but without success - come on RIM, sort it out! This leads me to a link with point ...
Touchscreens: science fact, not science fiction!
RIM delays, was completed to join the touchscreen market by a dubious foray into touchscreen-only Blackberry, the Storm and Storm of the second Possibly the least user-friendly BlackBerries is in existence, the failure of these two models led to happiness RIM to keep its exceptional touch and try out some built-in keyboard + touchscreen phones.
The BlackBerry Bold is the only successful model so far, although we will keep an eye on the Bold 9900 and newer versions of the torch through the coming months. It is clear that RIM dragged their heels a bit when it came to testing the touchscreen. It can not afford, so be careful.Looking to the future ...
The people over at RIM are not stupid. They saw what happened with Nokia, and they know how fickle can the modern consumer. On newer models on the road, plus an internal reshuffle promised RIM are certainly hoping that they increase their share of the smartphone market in the next few months. You can only hope that they do not leave it too late.
